Hi, I’m Kate! Owner of Flobee Designs.

What started as a hobby—making personalised gifts for friends and family—quickly turned into something more. After a bit of encouragement (and some inspiration from my daughter for a business name), Little Flori & Co officially launched early 2021. I focused on making and selling personalised gifts aimed towards new parents and babies. Over time, as more and more requests for different products came flooding through, I decided to branch out and launched The Yellow Sunflower Gifts in the Spring of 2022. Here I could offer my customers so much more than just baby items - but I kept it separate from Little Flori, to try and give each brand its chance to shine. And both businesses did -ticking over nicely and fitting comfortably around my day job.

In 2023, life threw me a curveball: I was unexpectedly made redundant from my day job while pregnant with baby number two. Faced with a choice—rush back into finding a new job or soak up those precious early moments—I chose family. Those days are too special to miss! So I focused on my little ones and poured my energy into growing my 2 businesses.

With more time and passion than ever, both Little Flori & Co. and The Yellow Sunflower Gifts began to bloom. I expanded our personalisation options and added new products regularly. Then, in early 2025, my husband Matt officially joined the adventure (although, lets be honest, he's been there since day one - helping out in one way or another). And by the summer, we decided to merge both businesses into one exciting new brand: Flobee Designs.
